Israel thanks Air India for sending back its stranded nationals

New Delhi, Mar 27: An Air India special flight dared to flew 314 Israelis back to their country amid the coronavirus pandemic.

They landed safely in their country on Thursday evening. Many passengers were seen carrying Indian and Israeli flags while deplaning.

The Air India flew the Israeli nationals following a request of the Israel embassy to the Ministry of External Affairs.

“Hundreds of Israelis are flying home from Delhi today through two dedicated one-way commercial flights thanks to the hard work of @IsraelinIndia & Israeli partners with the MEA & local authorities,” the Israel embassy in India tweeted.
