Bhubaneswar, Aug 2: The Government railway Police (GRP) today seized 4.1 quintals of ganja from the parcel counter of Bhubaneswar railway station. Police have also arrested two persons in this connection.
As per reports, a man identifying himself as a cashew trader reached the parcel counter and registered the consignment for transport to Koraput. The trader claimed that the packaged stuff contained cashew nuts.
Hoover, on duty police personnel smelled foul play and asked the man to show the consignment but the man refused to do so. Later the police opened the packets and found ganja. Police said that the market value of the seized ganja would be Rs 5 lakh.
