New Delhi, Feb 4: A fine century by opener Yashasvi Jaiswal helped India Under 19 beat Pakistan Under 19 by 10 wickets to register a birth in the final in the ongoing ICC U19 World Cup 2020 in South Africa.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first but managed to put on only 172 as Indian bowlers continued to mount pressure on the opposition. For India Sushant Mishra was the top bowler with three wickets while Kartik Tyagi and Ravi Bishnoi scalped two wickets each.
In reply Indian openers had a solid start and reached the target without losing a wicket. Jaiswal remained unbeaten on 105 while his partner Divyaansh Saxena remained unbeaten on 59. India reached the target in the 36th over. India will now play against the winner of the match between New Zealand and Bangladesh.
