India evacuates 323 people from Wuhan city of China in second batch

New Delhi, Feb 2: The second Air India flight carrying stranded citizens from China’s coronavirus-hit Wuhan city landed in New Delhi on Sunday morning. As many as 323 Indians were airlifted from Wuhan today in the second Air India special flight that departed at 3.10 (IST) from Wuhan and landed at New Delhi airport at around 9.45 am. Seven Maldives citizends were also evacuated on the same plane. The first Air India flight had brought back 324 Indians stranded in Wuhan on Saturday. The virus has killed more than 300 people and infected over 9,000 in Chine. In India two people from Kerala have tested positive for the virus.
