IMD predicts rain fall in next 24 hours

Bhubaneswar, Feb 3: As many as nine districts of the state will witness light to moderate rain in the next 24 hours, the regional Met centre predicted on Monday. There will be light to moderate rain or thundershower at one or two places in Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Kalahandi and Nuapada districts under the influence of two cyclonic circulations – one over the south Konkan and Goa coast and another over central parts of Bangladesh, said Charana Behera, duty officer, Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre. The IMD also issued yellow warning for dense fog at one or two places in Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Angul districts during this period.
