Bhubaneswar, 29/10: Kalinga Stadium, now considered as an international sports venue, is gearing up for an important hockey event next week. The Federation of Indian Hockey (FIH) Olympic Qualifying Hockey Tournament will be played here. It will be decided here as to whether the Hockey India team will get the ticket to Tokyo Olympics. The sign as to whether the women hockey team will show its spectacular performance in Tokyo after its success in Rio Olympics is expected to be seen here too. So the two Indian teams, male and female, are expected to descend to the ground with new strategies. The Indian women hockey team will meet the US and the men team will encounter its Russian counterpart in the two league matches to be played on November 1-2 here.
