Bhubaneswar: Passengers of the Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express train had a harrowing time last night as the train stranded in a dark-ridden tunnel between Tikiri and Rauli in Koraput district for five hours from 8 pm to 1 am on Monday-Tuesday nights.
According to reports, passengers had to spend five hours in dark and without food. The train could not move as the electric line had snapped.
The train resumed running after the electric line was repaired. The train is moving six-hour late, said reports.
