GRP recovers huge quantity of rice from abandoned house

Jharsuguda, Jan 9: Government Railway Police (GRP) said it has recovered 200 quintal of rice last night from an abandoned house situated near rail line at Doubling Colony in Jharsuguda town. The rice sacks carry logo of Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (OSCSC). The GRP seized the rice as nobody claimed possession during recovery of the grain. {"id":23532,"sizeSlug":"large"} Preliminary investigations suggest involvement of a racket in the matter. However, the supply department is clueless about stock of the huge quantity of rice.
