Bhubaneswar, 14/11: Customs officers seized 1310 gm valuing Rs 52.02 lakh from a passenger hailing from Kerala last night. {"id":20408,"sizeSlug":"large"} According to reports, the Customs officials intercepted a passenger of Indian origin, hailing from Kozhikode in Kerala, who arrived from Kualalumpur by an Air Asia flight at the Biju Patnaik international airport here on Monday night. The personal search led to recovery of gold weighing 1310.650 gms and valuing over Rs 52.02 lakh. {"id":20409,"sizeSlug":"large"} Debasish Sahoo, Commandant of Customs (Preventive) posted at the Biju Patnaik international airport here, commended the efforts of the custom officers and reiterated that the department is alert and vigilant to thwart any activity of smuggling through the Bhubaneswar airport.
