Ganjam village sealed after being declared as Covid-19 hot spot

Bhubaneswar, April 5: Matia Sahi village under Golanthara police limits in Ganjam district has been sealed after the district administration declared it as Covid-19 hotspot. The district administration declared the place as a hotspot for the deadly virus after it was found that around 130 migrants have moved to the village from Covid-19 hotspots in the state capital. IIC of Golanthara police station has been directed to create a temporary check post at the entry point of the village and restrict entry and exit to the village. Tehsildar, Kukudakhandi has been entrusted with the job of coordination while the Block Development Officer, Kukudakhandi has been instructed to ensure home delivery of essential commodities to people of the village.
