Fast tag system mandatory in all NH tollgates from tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, 14/12: Introduction of fast tag system will be mandatory in all the toll gates on the national highways will be mandatory from tomorrow. The system was earlier scheduled to be introduced from December 1, however it was later postponed to December 15. {"id":21942,"sizeSlug":"large"} From tomorrow onwards, cash will not be received in toll gates. Money will be deducted from the vehicle owners' account through fast tag. However, many vehicle owners are not aware about the fast tag. It is apprehended that they will face difficulties. {"id":21943,"sizeSlug":"large"} The central government has decided to strictly enforce fast tag system to encourage digital payment in toll gates. However, several vehicle owners have not attached the fast tag in their vehicles. Hence, arrangements have been made to make the fast tag available at NHAI counters on the highway.Besides, the fast tags will also be available online. ।
