Bhubaneswar: An elephant herd continued wrecking havoc in Patna forest range area in Keonjhar district for third second day on Tuesday.
According to reports, a big number of pachyderms entered the Patna range area two days back. They then went to agriculture fields along many villages and ate paddy up paddy plants.
On Tuesday morning, the jumbos entered Lunga, Balituta, Gania Barei and ate up paddy on acres of land.
Villagers of Lunga, Balituta, Gania Barei and other nearby villages are in a state of fear as the Jharkhandi elephants are still moving in the area.
