ECoR to run one more special train for Fani-affected passengers

Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway decided to run one more special train between Bhubaneswar and Krishnarajpuram (Bangalore) on Saturday (May 18) for the stranded passengers due to cancellation of trains during Cyclone Fani that hit the Odisha coast on May 3.

The Bhubaneswar-Krishnarajpuram Special Train (06562) will leave Bhubaneswar at 10 pm on Saturday and will reach at Krishnarajpuram at 10.50 pm on Sunday.

This train has 14 Sleeper Class, Two Second Class Seating and two guard cum luggage Van having stoppages at Khurda Road, Berhampur, Palasa, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada in ECoR jurisdiction along with important stations like Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpetai and Bangarapet between Bhubaneswar and Krishnarajpuram.

It had arranged the first special train from Bhubaneswar to Krushnarajpuram on May 15.
