ECoR CTI turns Good Samaritan, returns Rs 92000 of a train passenger

Bhubaneswar, Jan 31: An employee of East Coast Railway turned a good Samaritan and returned a jacket containing cash of Rs 920000 of a passenger travelling on Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express. As per reports, S.K Behera, Chief Ticket Inspector (CTI) posted at Bhubaneswar found the jacket containing the cash lying abandoned in A1 coach of the train. Behera also found the passport of the passenger identified as Vinay Jaiswal. Later the CTI contacted Jaiswal and handed over him the jacket at Kanpur railway station. “I had lost all hope of getting the cash. I was more worried as my passport was also there in the jacket. I was thankful to the CTI for returning my valuables,” said the passenger.
