Cuttack, Sep 3: Dreaded criminal of Cuttack city Prakash Behera alias Hadia (45) was brutally hacked to death by two unidentified miscreants late last night, police said. Two bike-borne miscreants hacked him to death near Ipsar Gada at Satichaura square in the city. According to police, Hadia was with one of his associates near a tea stall at Ipsar Gada when two bike-borne miscreants attacked them with sword. Bidanasi police reached the spot being informed about the incident and rushed him to SCB Hospital in a critical condition where the attending doctor declared him brought dead. Police suspect past enmity and business rivalry are the reasons behind the murder. Notably, Hadia was involved in illegal liquor trading and over 22 cases have been pending against him at several police stations in the city.
