Bhubaneswar: The dispute between the Puri and Bhubaneswar Bus Owners’ Association was resolved today.
The bus service was between the two cities was suspended since Tuesday because of a dispute over timings among the private bus owners’ association of both the cities.
The problem was sorted out today in the presence of senior district administration officials and bus owners’ association office bearers.
Sources said both the associations have agreed to adhere to the timings given in the permit. Transport officials, along with police personnel and association members will ensure that the timings are being complied, the sources added.
The Puri Private Bus Owners’ Association was accused of detaining as many as 18 buses belonging to Bhubaneswar for the past four days. And the Bhubaneswar bus body on Tuesday stopped all the services to Puri.
Around 100 buses daily ply between both the cities.
