Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today hailed the Union Budget-2019-20 saying it will help build New Odisha and also disapproved the argument that Odisha will get a little in the first Budget of the second Narendra Modi Government.
In his reaction on the Budget, the Union Petroleum and Natural Gas and Steel Minister said the Budget presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday is a futuristic one.
“Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the budget keeping in view the future benefits. This budget is rural development-oriented and Odisha will be among three-four States who will be benefited most from the Budget,” he added.
Odisha will get a lion’s share in development and pro-poor welfare schemes, added Pradhan.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of ‘New India’ will come true due to this Budget. It will also help to develop Odisha as a New Odisha,” added Pradhan.
Pradhan also hailed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for welcoming the Union Budget saying political rivalry should have its own track.
