Bhubaneswar, July 30: After huge hue and cry about the suspicious death of social activist Aditya Dash, DGP Abhay today ordered a Crime Branch probe into the matter. I have ordered Crime Branch to take charge of investigation of BBSR GRPS case no 81/20 relating to death of social activist Aditya Dash, said the DGP. The DGP’s order comes amidst social media outrage over the death mystery of Aditya. His body was found by the railway tracks near Lingaraj station on July 7. The government railway police (GRP), based on prime facie investigation, said he died of suicide by jumping before a oncoming train but further investigations revealed some suspicious facts following which the GRP intensified its probe and new twists came to fore day by day. The activist had got married just a month before his death.
