DGP insists on full fledged utilisation of CCTNS scheme in Odisha

Cuttack, Jan 22: Police DG Abhay today insisted on full fledged utilisation of CCTNS scheme in the state during a metting with IGs, DIGs and SPs through video conferencing at State Police Headquarters in Cuttack. The DG also called upon the SPs to give top priority to POCSO and Red Flag Cases investigation and achieve as low as 15% pendency by March this year. The SPs were also asked to improve the quality of investigation and supervision. The top cop also directed the concerned officers for preparation for implementation of three new projects under 5-T scheme, i.e. insurance Management System, Medico Legal System and E-FIR. Other issues discussed in the meeting included proper utilisation of funds under head office contingency for police stations, special drive on execution of NBW, submission of information about vacancies in different ranks and separation of consumer electricity connection within police station campus.
