Daughter's love affair suspected behind murder of lady teacher in Jajpur

Jajpur, July 7: Police have detained two youths of Salepur village in connection with murder of a lady teacher at Mirzapur village under Dharmasala police limits in Jajpur district on Monday. The lady teacher was found dead while her husband and daughter were critically injured and rushed to hospital in Cuttack. Today, they have been shifted to Bhubaneswar after their health condition deteriorated. The attack on the family members might be related to love affair of the couple’s daughter, preliminary investigation revealed. The deceased Tarulata Biswal, who was working as a teacher at Ananta Kumari Girls High School in Mirzapur, was staying at a rented house in Mohanty Sahi of the village along with her husband and daughter for the last 25 years. Neighbours found her body lying in a pool of blood in the yard of her house on Monday morning and alerted the villagers who rescued her critically injured husband and daughter. Dharmasala police rushed to the spot being informed about the incident and sent the father-daughter duo to hospital.
