Daily wager in Odisha contributes Rs 5000 towards CMRF for Covid-19

Khordha, April 11: A daily wager in Khordha has come forward to help others during the testing times of Covid-19. The daily wager identified as Satrughna Nishank has donated Rs 5000 towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). As per reports, Nishank a native of Saradhapur village under Begunia block decided to donate the money to the CMRF at his official residence and started a cycle journey towards Bhubaneswar. However, he was detained by police personnel deployed at Pitapalli Chhak. The police personnel also advised him to deposit the money though the District Collector. Nishank later took the help of one of his friends after failing to meet the Collector. Subsequently Nishank deposited the money in bank towards the CMRF.
