Daily Covid count witnesses declining trend with 1793 fresh cases

Bhubaneswar, Oct 23: The Covid-19 positive cases continue to show a declining trend in Odisha as the state recorded 1793 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, informed the health department on Friday. The total caseload of Odisha climbed to 2,77,887. Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 1,031 have been reported from different centres while the remaining 762 are local contact cases. The number of active cases in the state stood at 19,579 while 2,57,041 patients have recovered so far. As many as 18 more persons succumbed to Coronavirus in the state in the last 24 hours. Khordha district recorded the highest 208 fresh cases followed by Cuttack 160 and Angul 107. District Wise Cases: 1. Angul: 107 2. Balasore: 40 3. Bargarh: 61 4. Bhadrak: 68 5. Balangir: 76 6.
