Bhubaneswar, Apr 9: London-based Indian origin consultant psychiatrist, Dr Radharaman Sharma, passed away on Monday in the United Kingdom after suffering from coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Dr Sharma was in his late 70s.
Dr Sharma was a member of Odisha Society of UK (OSUK) and one of his sons is a famous interventional cardiologist. The other is a dentist.
He had studied at Stewart School and SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. He had relocated to the UK later.
He is the second person of Odisha diaspora to have fallen victim to the deadly virus.
Sunanda Panda of New Jersey in the US had died of the infection on Sunday.
