Bhubaneswar, 10/12: Cut down the period of distraction and utilize more time on productive work which will lead you to success, motivational speaker and writer Chetan Bhagat advised youngsters here today. Delivering motivational talk titled as "life: success and happiness" at the anniversary function of Prameya Odia daily and News 7 Odia TV channel here today, Bhagat told the gathering, especially youngsters, " Don't spend more time on distractions like talking over cell phone, love affairs/relationship. You have to cut down the period of distraction and utillize time on productive work. This will fetch you success in life". Definition of success differs from person to person and age to age. So leave comparing yourself with others, he said Stating that he is not a Baba who has readymade mantra for success, Bhagat advised the people not to day dream, but to set goals with specific timeline. " But don't be hasty. Long effort is necessary for achieving success in the long run", said Bhagat. "Don't run away from pain or hard labour. Pain is your friend"", he said asking the people not to get disheartened with the failure. "It's failure which is the pillar of success". said the motivational speaker. Chetan began his speech in Odia uttering "Jay Jagannath"and "Bande Utkal Janani". Repeating Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's fond question Äpanmane khusi ta"(Are you happy), Bhagat said , " Mu madhya bahut khusi"(I am also happy very much).
