CP holds meeting with market committees of Bhubaneswar for strict enforcement of social distancing norms

Bhubaneswar, Sep 24: Commissionerate Police today convened a meeting with various market committees of Bhubaneswar to discuss about implementation of social distancing and use of masks. Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi interacted with the representatives of the market committees. “The market committees have committed to fully support our efforts to contain the Covid-19 pandemic. They have been advised to seek our assistance, erect barricades and engage volunteers to prevent violations,” said a senior police official. Earlier in this month, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had expressed displeasure over poor Covid-19 enforcement drive in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
