COVID-19 lockdown: Home delivery operators, grocery shops exempted in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Mar 27: The state government lifted the restrictions that were imposed on home delivery services providing organisations amid the 21-days nationwide lockdown.

The Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, Zomato, Myntra, KFC, Pizza Hut, Domino Pizza, Uber Eats, Grofers and Urban Claps are free from restrictions and now can go on for home deliveries.

Similarly, in order to provide food supplies, the Big Bazaar, Reliance Fresh, Omfed, OpelFed, Chillika Fresh and others have obtained permission for home delivery.

According to the new rules, shops will be open at night.

Earlier, the Commissionerate Police has lifted restrictions from shops selling essential goods in Twin Cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
