COVID-19 lockdown: Dharmendra talks to Karnataka, Maharashtra CMs over plight of Odias stranded in their states

Bhubaneswar, Apr 3: Union Petroleum and Natural Gas and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has urged Chief Ministers of Karnataka and Maharashtra to take proper care of Odias trapped in their state due to the lockdown.

Pradhan made the request in a telephone conversation with Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Both the Karnataka and Maharashtra Chief Ministers have promised to take all necessary measures and take appropriate care of the Odia people, he tweeted.

“Pradhan also said that brothers and sisters in Odisha should stay wherever they are. We will try our best to help you by contacting the state government and the district administration. I believe that Lord Jagannath will keep you well,” he further tweeted.
