Covid-19 claims seven lives in three days in Odisha, toll reaches 25

Bhubaneswar, June 30: Two more persons died of Covid-19 in the state taking the death toll to 25, the health department said on Tuesday. Seven persons have died of the disease in three days in Odisha. Two Covid positive patients of Ganjam district died while undergoing treatment in hospital on Sunday. One was a 48-year-old woman and the other a 39-year-old woman, who was also suffering from chronic kidney disease. It had reported death of two Covid positive patients (male 48 years and male 52 years) of Ganjam district, on Monday. Similarly, three deaths were reported from Ganjam, Cuttack and Khordha districts on Sunday. As many as 206 persons tested positive for Covid-19 on June 29 in Odisha. While 192 cases were reported from quarantine centres across the state, 14 cases were local. The number of Covid-19 positive cases reached 7065 in the state with detection of the new cases.
