COVID-19: 28 more cases reported from Cuttack’s Khatbin Sahi

Cuttack, July 27: As many as 65 persons in Cuttack city have tested positive for coronavirus today, informed Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).

According to the CMC, at least 28 cases were reported from Khatbin Sahi.

“Seven cases have been reported from institutional quarantine, 50 from home quarantine, two from paid quarantine and six cases of local contact have been reported in the city,” informed the CMC.

“Out of the 136 new COVID-19 +ve cases reported today in Cuttack district, 65 +ve cases belong to Cuttack city (CMC area). Another 8 recoveries have been reported recently! KUDOS to the efforts of all doctors & healthcare staff’” said the CMC.

With the detection of the new cases, the corona positive tally goes upto 736, including 423 active cases.

Besides, 304 persons have recovered from the disease, while the virus has claimed nine lives in the silver city.
