Couple and son held with 33 kg ganja in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Jan 30: The Drug Task Force of Commissionerate police today seized ganja weighing33 kilograms from a car and arrested three persons of a family. The accused have been identified as Satya Narayan Digal (52), his wife Padma Digal (44) and his son Clinton Digal (20). Police said that the family hails from Tikabali area of Kandhamal district. Acting on reliable information, police intercepted the Santro car at Jaydev Vihar and seized the contraband stashed in a gunny bag. Police said that the accused are being further interrogated to ascertain the source of procurement of ganja. “We are also verifying the antecedents of the three accused,” said a police official.
