Bhubaneswar, Aug 8: The state health department on Saturday said at least 12 persons succumbed to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours taking the toll to 259. "Regret to report the demise of three Covid positive patients due to other causes," it tweeted. On the other hand, as many as 48 corona positive persons have died due to other ailments in the state, it added.
