Corona scare: Officers move to guest houses after returning from abroad

Bhubaneswar, March 22: Amid the coronavirus outbreak, some senior officials in Odisha have shifted to government guest houses after their children, who were studying abroad, returned home.

As per reports, children of these IAS and IPS are in 14-day isolation, some at home and others abroad.

Odisha transport Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda has moved to the guest house after his daughter, who is studying in University of Wisconsin at Madison in US, came back to Bhubaneswar on last Thursday.  She has also registered online with the Odisha government portal for novel coronavirus.

Senior IAS Vishal Dev has also moved to the state guest house here for 14 days on Friday. Dev’s daughter returned to Bhubaneswar on Friday night.
