Commissionerate Police seizes more than 250 bikes for violation of lockdown

Bhubaneswar, March 30: Commissionerate police has seized more than 250 motorcycles in the state capital for violating regulations related to lockdown. “No leniency will be tolerated in the fight against Cocid-19. People are requested not to venture outside during the lockdown period risking their lives and of family members. We will intensify the drive and will continue to seize the motorcycles of owners roaming without any emergency during the lockdown,” said a police official. {"id":33264,"sizeSlug":"large"} People also urged residents to take a walk while going to purchase essential commodities and vegetables. In a related development, police also urged the residents not to approach for renewal of vehicle passes. “All vehicle passes issued till March 29 will remain valid indefinitely till the entire situation relating to Covid-19 is resolved,” added the police official.
