Bhubaneswar: Low temperature coupled with cold waves continued throwing normal life out of gear in the entire Odisha for a consecutive fourth day on Tuesday.
According to the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, more than 15 cities have recorded temperature below 10 degree Celsius by 8 am today. While Daringibadi recorded the lowest temperature of the day at 6.0 degree Celsius, Phulbani 6.5, Keonjhar 6.2, Sambalpur 8.6, Talcehr 8. Cuttack 9.0 and Bhubanewar recorded 9.8 degree Celsius.
According to the IMD, there would be a letup on cold wave conditions from the New Year. On January1, 2 and 3, the temperature might increase as light to moderate rains are expected in most parts of the State due to a western disturbance.
