CMC seals Cuttack’s Pattapol area to contain COVID-19; Here are the details:

Cuttack, Apr 4: The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) has sealed the Pattapol area of Cuttack, where the first positive case of COVID-19 was detected.

As the area is a densely populated and it requires detailed measures for active contact tracing and it is necessary to make the area as a containment zone and to restrict public from entering into and going out of the containment zone.

The area coming within the boundary is hereby declared as the containment zone.

I.       Buxi Bazar Chhak to Stewart Science College

II.      Stewart Science College to Sutahat Masjid Chhak

III.    Sutahat Masjid Chhak to Tinkonia Bagicha Park

IV.    Tinkonia Bagicha Park to Buxi Bazar Chhak

All vehicular movement, movement of Public transport and personnel movement will be stopped. All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain in home. All the shopping establishment of whatsoever nature shall be closed immediately. The supply of essentials and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by the CMC.

To ensure smooth supply of essentials/facilities in respect of the containment zone, the following officers are hereby declared as the nodal officers
