Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited Nabarangpur and Koraput districts and launched several development projects worth crores of rupees.
During his Nabarangpur visit, Patnaik dedicated projects of Rs 19 crore and laid foundation for development projects of Rs 1,097 crore, including four mega drinking water supply projects. New projects will boost drinking water supply, irrigation and infrastructure in the region, said the Chief Minister.
Patnaik distributed benefits under various Government programmes to construction workers, slum-dwellers, pensioners and forest dwellers.
Continuing the women empowerment initiative under Mission Shakti, the Chief Minister distributed Rs 25 lakh to Umerkote’s Mission Shakti Odisha self Help Group (SHG).
Similarly, Patnaik inaugurated at least 31 projects worth Rs 1,136.41 crore and lay foundation for as many as 94 projects worth Rs 749 crore in Koraput. He also addressed Biju Yuva Vahini conclave in Jeypore.
In Nabarangpur, he dedicated 12 projects worth Rs 19 crore and laid foundation for 16 projects worth Rs 1,097crore.
