Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited Boudh and Ganjam districts and inaugurated several projects besides laying foundation stone for other initiatives worth Rs 1078.54 crore.
The Chief Minister inaugurated development projects worth Rs 192 crore and laid foundation for Rs 777.59 crore projects during his visit to Boudh. The new projects will strengthen connectivity, drinking water supply and education in the district, said Patnaik.
Patnaik also visited Bhanjanagar block of Ganjam district and dedicated three projects worth Rs 21.26 crore and laid foundation stone for 24 projects worth Rs 86.69 crore.
These projects will facilitate civic amenities, road connectivity and strengthen flood protection in the block, added the Chief Minister.
With Lok Sabha and Assembly elections barely a month away, Chief Minister Patnaik is visiting districts one after another to initiate projects.
On Sunday, the Chief Minister launched a slew of development projects worth around Rs 796 crore in Cuttack.
