Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Berhampur in Ganjam district on Sunday to launch a slew of projects.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate at least 231 projects and lay stones for as many as 48 develomental projects during the visit. Besides, Patnaik will also a address a massive farmers’ rally at Rangeilunda and distribute farming equipments to nearly 25,000 farmers.
Earlier on Friday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the KALIA (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation) Yojana by releasing over Rs 620 crore directly to the accounts of more than 12 lakh farmers of the State.
Patnaik released the funds at a mega congregation of farmers from all 314 blocks of the State at the Malatipatpur Rahangiria village ground in Puri district.
