Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik one again targeted the BJP-led Union Government for “hatching a conspiracy to stop distribution of assistances under the KALIA Yojana among farmers in the State.

Addressing an election rally at Rampur in Nayagarh district, the BJD supremo said 40 lakh farmers have already been given assistances and 25 lakh more farmers have been enrolled for the KALIA benefit. The enrolled peasants would get assistances of Rs10, 000  of two  instalments on the first day of the formation of the new BJD Government.

Patnaik asserted that nobody can stop execution of the KALIA scheme till he is alive.

He alleged that BJP Central leaders are coming to the State during elections only and they had never come during the foods and cyclones.

“I am always with you and will be with you till my last breath. Bless me to serve you again and vote for BJD candidates for Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies in big numbers,” he urged voters.
