Jajpur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the second campus or rural campus of the Utkal University at Chandikhole in Jajpur district.
The university will run from its temporary campus at Baba Bhairabananda College near the demarcated site for the permanent campus. The construction of the permanent campus will be completed shortly. Higher Education minister Anant Das had laid foundation stone for the permanent campus in July 2017.
Initially, the institution will start with two courses-master degree in Public Health and MBA in rural management- from this temporary campus.
The State Government has sanctioned Rs 25 crore for the rural campus and demarcated land of 66.3 acres near Baba Bhairabananda College at Chandikhol.
