Bhubaneswar: BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Koraput and Malkangiri districts today to campaign for his paty’s Lok Sabha and Assembly candidates ahead of general elections.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to address four public meetings and a hitech roadshow across six Assembly constituencies.
According to reports, Patnaik will arrive at Jeypore at 10:30 a.m. by a special flight. From there, he would move to Malkangiri by a special helicoptor. After campaigning there, he would go to Pottangi to address a public meeting.
Then, he would go to Laxmipur to campaign for the Assembly and Koraput Lok Sabha candidates. From there, the BJD chief would return to Jeypore where he will address a public meeting. Later, he would conduct a road show by a hitech bus.
Adequate security arrangements have been made at different places in view of the Chief Minister’s visit.
It may be noted here that Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have already visited Jeypore and campaigned for their respective party candidates.
