Clash erupts between two groups of Congress supporters in Bhadrak

Bhadrak, Feb 19: Few days after three Congress activists were injured in a clash between two groups at Puri Congress Bhawan, a scuffle took place at Bhadrak District Congress office today. The scuffle took place between two groups of the party before the visit of Odisha Congress in-charge Jitendra Singh to the district today. As per reports, former student leader of the party, Balaram Rout was allegedly manhandled by his rival group. A case in this connection has been lodged with the Bhadrak Town police station. Several posters and hoardings were also spotted in the district to remove Niranjan Patnaik from the post of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee. Earlier on Monday three party members were injured after a fight broke out during a party meeting in presence of Singh, Patnaik and former MP Pradeep Majhi.
