Cuttack, Mar 30: Former Cuttack Choudwar MLA Pravat Ranjan Biswal has launched a compassionate initiative of ambulance service to cater to people who need to visit hospital for different reasons.
This is especially important when government supported 108 ambulance services are over-burdened and many people are unable to reach hospital.
Biswal has formed an eight member medical support team to extend support through the ambulance service. This team has been split into two, the first four member team caters to the morning timing between 6.00 am to 2.00 pm and the next four member team does duty during the evening slot from 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
On Sunday, the morning team reached to a patient in Kayalpada Panchayat and shifted him to SCB Medical College and Hospital.
Biswal has requested people who need urgent medical support to contact him on his number 9437225423 or on the ambulance driver’s number 88478000556.
