Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will make an aerial survey of the Cyclone Bulbul-affected areas today afternoon.
According to information, Patnaik would hold a meeting with cCollectors of the affected districts through a videoconferencing at the Lok Seva Bhawan after his aerial visit. Patnaik would review the restoration works and supports being provided to people.
Notably, Special Relief Commissioner Pradeep Jena on Sunday held a videoconferencing with the district Collectors of Jagatsinghpur , Kendrapada Jajpur, Bhadrak, Baleswar and Mayurbhanj regarding the damages caused by the cyclone. Later he informed that crops on 3 lakh hectares of land have been affected and more than 5,500 houses damaged by due to rains and strong winds.
