Chicken dish for West Indies players and dalma for Indian players; chenna poda and baked rasagolla to be served as dessert

Bhubaneswar, 19/12: The chefs of the Hotel Mayfair Lagoon, where the West Indies and Indian players are staying, have prepared special menu for the special visitors. While special chicken dishes are being prepared for the palate of West Indies players, typical Odia dish dalma is being included in the Indian players' diet. This was revealed from the officials and chefs of the Hotel Mayfair Lagoon which has played host for the Indian and international teams several times. Executive director of Hotel Mayfair Lagoon, Soubhagya Mohapatra said the menu was being prepared basing on the physical fitness, health requirement and food choice of the players. Dalma, the typical Odia dish, has been included in the menu of the Indian players, said the chefs. Besides, sea foods, especially prawn dish with less spice have been the favorite dish of the players, they said. Chefs of Nakli dhaba are busy preparing special items for the players. Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni like dishes prepared by the Nakli Dhaba. Special chicken dishes are being prepared for the West Indies players, who cherish non vegetarian items, said a chef who has come from Gangtok. Odia sweet delicacy Chhenapoda and baked rasagolla are favorites of the players in the dessert section. Menu has been prepared for the players for five days. They were served various delicacies in today's lunch. On arrival, they were offered green coconut drink . To keep the players physical fit, jogging tracks, gym, spa and swimming pools are ready for the players. This time, the visiting two teams were extended warm welcome by the hotel staff in a different way. They performed DJ dance to the tune of gorgeous music.
