Bhubaneswar, Mar 21: The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has requested people to stay indoors to fight the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) that has infected over 28,000 people worldwide.

As of Saturday evening, the total number of casualties due to COVID-19 crossed 11,000 across the world while five succumbed to the virus in India.

The CSK, though social media handles, has urged the citizens to stay safe.

“Stay in your Den this weekend. Take care of yourself & the old folks. Let’s make life hard for the virus. And let’s whistle to express our gratitude to the relentless fighters of the virus. PS. Try doing without using the hands. Tomo 5 PM. #WhistlePoduAt5 #JantaCurfew #COVID2019,” CSK tweeted.
