Champua Forest Ranger suspended over death of elephants in Keonjhar

Keonjhar, June 23: Champua ranger Kasinath Hembram has been placed under suspension in connection with death of two elephants inside a reserve forest area in the district on June 13. Hembram has been placed under suspension for dereliction of duty. On June 13, carcasses of a female and a male elephant were recovered by forest officials at Gurubeda resrerve forest in Keonjhar district.  Earlier forester of Joda Pian Nayak and Jurudi beat house Forest Guard Dolagobinda Deo were also suspended for death of elephants.
