Bhubaneswar: The very severe cyclone Bulbul is now moving 130 km off Paradip coast and, by its impart, rains are occurring in Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur and Jajpur districts.
The Bulbul is now moving at 7 km per house towards West Bengal and Bangladesh. The cyclone is now moving in north-northwest direction but it will re-curve and move in north-northeast direction. The cyclone will make landfall at Sundarbana and Khepapur sometime between this evening and midnight today.
Rains will continue to occur till the Bulbul re-curved by the evening.
Meanwhile, Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy visited the IMD Regional Centre here and held discussions about Cyclone Bulbul with weather experts there.
