Lucknow, April 16 : The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has unveiled a fresh list comprising 11 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. Notably, there has been a change in the candidate for the Mainpuri constituency, with Shiv Pratap Yadav stepping in for Gulshan Shakya.

In the high-profile Varanasi constituency, which is currently represented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BSP has nominated Athar Jamal Lari as its candidate. Other key nominations include Muslim Khan in Budaun and Chhotelal Gangwar in Bareilly.

Uday Raj Varma will be contesting from Sultanpur on the BSP ticket, while Kranti Pandey is the candidate for Farrukhabad. Mayank Dwiwedi will represent the BSP in Banda, and Khwaja Shamsuddin will vie for the Dumariaganj seat. Lallan Singh Yadav has been chosen as the BSP candidate for Ballia, whereas Sreekala Singh will be contesting from Jaunpur. Umesh Kumar will go head-to-head against Samajwadi Party’s Afzal Ansari in Ghazipur.
