BSE chief denies reports of English paper going viral

Cuttack: Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president Jahan Ara Begum denied reports of English matriculation paper going viral on social media.

The president said that some anti-social elements are spreading rumours. She advised students to stop worrying and to continue their studies in the same zeal as viral has no bearing on students.

Fifteen minutes after the examination started today, English language paper went viral on social media.  According to reports, images of 10 pages of English question paper went viral on social media while the examination was underway at 2953 centres across the State.

It may be noted that MIL Odia question paper had gone viral in Nuapada and Dhenkanal districts on the first day of the examination on February 22. As many as seven teachers have been arrested in Nuapada district in connection with the case.
